James Farmer
Featured Speaker

Raised in rural middle Georgia in a landscape filled with peach orchards, native flowers and heirloom vegetable gardens, James Farmer is a true man of the South. Because of this background, he is able to bring the essence of southern culture to everything he does whether it be cooking, gardening, or designing interiors or table settings.

James, an Auburn University graduate, was raised “organic” where “farm to table” was an actual lifestyle and not a current fashion trend. Growing up, he was taught to appreciate the natural beauty and flavors of the commonplace things that could be found on the family farm. His grandmother imparted the art of traditional Southern cooking to him and he has revitalized those old recipes making them relevant and healthier for contemporary tastes and entertaining. James’ mastery of gardening, entertaining, decorating and cooking, always results in the perfect event. You won’t want to miss this featured Art in the Garden program!
